In line with our expectations, the growth of the Ukrainian stock market on Monday was more modest than that observed on Friday. At the same time, owing to good results on U.S. indices, the positive dynamics of the UX Index should continue today. At the same time, in the afternoon, investors should pay attention to the dynamics of Apple stocks: in the case that quotations for “Apple” grow above the local maxima, it is very likely that the index will continue to grow.
We also note that we are essentially talking about a change in the rules of the game, just as we are, for the first time in a few months, talking about the Ukrainian market as an independent entity among stock markets, capable of meaningful movement. This means that trading strategies that have brought success in the recent past should be modified, taking into account the changes that have occurred in the last few days. It is still premature for investors to plan on opening short positions.
