By results
of trades on Wednesday the Ukrainian market increased by 1.78% closing at
1039.32bps. Trading volume on the spot market totaled 39.1mln, the short-term -
54.9mln.
Key stocks
of the European region demonstrated predominantly positive trend. Despite the
fact that the news from Germany did not bring any surprises, in line with the
expectations of most experts, the market
participants optimistically reacted on the decision of German Constitutional Court,
which allowed the ratification of the agreement on the establishment of the
European Stability Mechanism (ESM).
Additional
support to the markets of the region was provided by the expectations of the
U.S. Federal Reserve to introduce new measures to stimulate the economy after
the meeting on September12-13.
Following
the session, Britain's FTSE 100 dropped by 0.17%, France's CAC 40 increased by
0.18%, while Germany's DAX increased by 0.46%. Regional indicator STXE 600 increased
by0.12% closing at 272.91 points.
The
external background at the opening of today's trading develops moderately
positive. Trading on the stock exchanges in the U.S. on Wednesday ended with a
slight increase in major indices, which added only 0.1-0.3%. This morning
futures on major U.S. indices lost about 0.1%. The dynamics in Asia is mixed.
Of the news from the Asia-Pacific region can be noted the unexpected decision
by the Central Bank of South Korea to leave its key interest rate unchanged at
3%.
