Ukrainian
stock market yesterday continued its growth yesterday, which was formed due to
the end of the month factor and the closure of short positions of bears. By
results of trades the market grew by 1.21%, closing at 885.62 bps. Total
trading volume in the spot market amounted 37.3 mln., in the futures - 59.4
mln.
The first
U.S trading in the U.S. of this week failed to meet the expectations. Despite
the growth of futures during the days when the American Stock Exchange was
closed because of the East Coast hurricane, the indices remained at the levels
of the end of the last week. Strong output statistics on manufacturing activity
in China supported the growth in the Chinese and Hong Kong markets, but failed
to reverse the overall downward trend in Asia. MSCI Asia Pacific Index lost
0.3% today.
Yesterday,
the trading in Europe resulted in declining of major indexes. The Sales were
contributed by weak corporate reporting, in particular, by ArcelorMittal and BG
Group, which added pressure to EU representatives in Greece, forcing up the
credit risk in the region. Stoxx 50 index lost 0.5% yesterday.
The
external background at the opening of today's trading develops neutral. This
morning futures on major U.S. indices lost about 0.1-0.4%. The main flow of
macroeconomic data is expected in the second half of the day
