Locally-listed Ukrainian stocks were notably lower in morning trading on Monday (Nov 4) before recovering a chunk of their losses in the afternoon, although 8 of 10 blue chips still finished the day in negative territory. The UX underperformed the main global indices for a third straight session, declining by half a percent to close at 858 points. DonbasEnergo (DOEN) gave back its gain from Friday with a 2.4% fall, and Yenakievo Steel (ENMZ) and UkrNafta (UNAF) both lost 1.8%. Volume leader Motor Sich (MSICH) was down 1.0% on turnover of UAH 5.2mn, while Raiffeisen Aval (BAVL) ended in the black with a 1.7% pickup. In London, it was a good day for both Ferrexpo (FXPO LN) and MHP (MHPC LI), which added 2.9% and 4.4% respectively, with the latter closing at USD 16.18.
