On Monday, July 4, U.S. markets were shuttered in observance of Independence Day.
European stock exchanges closed with decrease of main indexes, despite gains earlier in Asia, as investors awaited more clarity on Britain’s future outside the European Union. Industrial producer prices for the Euro-zone rose 0.6% in May following a 0.3% decline the previous month and a stronger increase than the expected 0.3% monthly gain. There was a slowdown in the annual rate of decline to 3.9% from 4.4% previously with underlying deflationary pressures easing slightly. On the day’s result, British FTSE has declined by 0.84%, DAX (Germany) has lowered by 0.69%, CAC 40 (France) has decreased by 0.91%.
Augusts’ contractual price on Brent oil, grew by $0.16 to $69.64 per barrel.
In Ukraine
Trades on the Ukrainian stock exchange opened by growth, day passed with positive dynamics. Value of the UX index has increased by 6.12% to 730.82. Share trades capacity on the application market was equal to UAH 3 million. Trades capacity on the derivatives market was equal to UAH 7.2 million. Total trades capacity for yesterday — UAH 13.9 million.
From five shares of an index basket, five have risen. Leaders of growth were shares of Raiffeisen Bank Aval (+12.23%) and Donbasenergo (+5.97%).
The share of overdue credit debts (excluding insolvent banks) in Ukraine in January-June 2016 increased by 2.2 percentage points (p.p.), to 24.3% of the loans granted, according to the website of the National Bank of Ukraine.
Premarket
External background at the opening is moderately negative. Activity in China's services sector rose to an 11-month high in June. The Caixin/Markit services purchasing managers' index for June rose to 52.7 from 51.2 in May on a seasonally adjusted basis. The Asian indexes are decreasing today. Nikkei has lowered by 0.67%, Hong Kong Hang Seng declining by 0.90%.
Futures on American indexes are decreasing today from 0.19% to 0.20%.
Russian indexes as of 10:02 EET are decreasing — MICEX decreasing by 0.20%, RTS lowers by 0.63%.
Our expectations
We expect opening of the Ukrainian market by decrease.
In Europe will be published German services PMI (10:55 EET) and data on Markit composite PMI in the E.U. (11:00 EET).
In the U.S. will be published factory orders (17:00 EET).
