U.S. Energy Information Administration reported that domestic crude supplies rose by 2.5 million barrels in the week ended Aug. 19. That was significantly above the 200,000-barrel climb expected by analysts. On the day’s result, index Dow Jones has declined by 0.35%, S&P has lowered by 0.52%, Nasdaq has decreased by 0.81%.
European stock exchanges closed with mixed dynamics of main indexesas investors remained in wait and see mode ahead of a speech by Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen on Friday that could provide hints on the timing of a U.S. interest rate hike. Germany's gross domestic product grew at a quarterly rate of 0.4%, or an annualized rate of 1.7%, according to the Federal Statistical Office, Destatis. It marks a significant slowdown from the first quarter, when the economy expanded at a quarterly clip of 0.7%. On the day’s result, British FTSE has declined by 0.48%, DAX (Germany) has increased by 0.28%, CAC 40 (France) grew by 0.32%.
Septembers’ contractual price on Brent oil, decreased by $0.91 to $49.05 per barrel.

On Tuesday, August 23, Trades on the Ukrainian stock exchange opened on neutral territory, day passed without certain dynamics. Value of the UX index has declined by 0.17% to 692.33. Share trades capacity on the application market was equal to UAH 1 million. Trades capacity on the derivatives market was equal to UAH 3.4 million. Total trades capacity for yesterday — UAH 10.4 million. From five shares of an index basket, two have risen. Leaders of growth were shares of Centerenergo (+0.24%). Worse than market looked shares of Motor Sich (-0.91%).
Ukraine's GDP growth in 2017 is expected to be 2.9% with inflation 9% (December on December), according to a consensus forecast published by the Ukrainian Economic Development and Trade Ministry. Experts anticipate that this year the country's GDP will grow by 1% with 13.1% inflation.

We expect opening of the Ukrainian market on neutral territory.
In Europe will be published index IFO in Germany (11:00 EET).
In the U.S. will be published initial jobless claims (15:30 EET) and data on durable goods orders (15:30 EET).
