Ukrainian Exchange increases by 10 times the value of the futures contract for the UX Index

On March 10, 2016 NSSMC has registered changes of the Sample form of a futures contract for the Ukrainian Equities Index (UX Index) and an option’s Sample form on UX Index futures contract.

According to new changes the value of the futures contract for the UX Indexwill be increased by 10 times.

New UX Index parameters will come to effect on March 16, 2016.

It is necessary to pay attention:

• The contract with expiration in June, as well as options on it remains unchanged;
• The futures contract code with expiration in September will be differ from standard codification and will have the YX-9.16 code (a code in the trade system YXU6). The relevant features of codification will also have codes of option contracts on this futures;
• Price dimension of the contract will remain invariable and will still correspond to index size in points about accuracy to 0,1 points;
• Exchange fee and initial margin requirements will be increased proportionally.
