CEO of Ukrainian Exchange was placed on the Board of IAE CIS

Oleg Tkachenko, Chief Executive Officer of Ukrainian Exchange, becomes a new member of the Board of International Association of Exchanges of CIS countries (IAE CIS).

On October 25, 2012 new Board of IAE CIS was elected in Kishinev during the general meeting of IAE CIS, heads of 18 organizations from 9 countries (Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan) were took part in this meeting.

Besides Mr. Tkachenko the Board consists of: Amirbekov Fikret Farhad oglu (Baku Interbank Currency Exchange), Alexander Afanasyev (Moscow Stock Exchange); Damitov Kadyrzhan (Kazakhstan Stock Exchange), Peter Pereverzev (Ukrainian Interbank Currency Exchange), Salikov Arkady (Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange ) Tsekhanovich Pavel (Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange).

International Association of Exchanges of CIS countries (IAE CIS) was established on April, 2000 in Moscow with a purpose of labor coordination in development of financial structure according to international criteria.

IAE CIS combines 20 organizations from 10 countries, which play key role in service of mutual financial turnover, currency operations, government and corporate securities.

The Ukrainian Exchange is the liquidity center of stocks and derivatives trading in Ukraine.
Securities market was launched in March 2009 and trading on the derivatives market started in May 2010. Both markets meet the best international practices.

The Ukrainian Equities Index is an indicator calculated by the Ukrainian Exchange. The Index is started calculated during the trading session every 15 seconds. Index constituents are comprised of the most liquid stocks of Ukrainian companies. The initial value of the Index was set at 500 points.

Futures on the UX Index is the most liquid instrument of the Ukrainian market.
