Short options will be launched on Ukrainian Exchange

On the July 7, 2011 Ukrainian Exchange will add new options on the futures on the UX Index with expiration date one time per month (short options).

The main difference between the monthly options of quarterly that monthly options have lees time value, consequently a smaller amount of premium, which makes them more interesting for active participants.

Currently only quarterly options are available on the exchange (long options). Long options expiration in March, June, September and December. Short options expiration will be on each month (totally 8 months) excluding long options expiration months.

On the July 7, 2011 new instrument of derivatives market will be added to the trading system with expiration date August 15, 2011 (contract code - UX-9.11M150811CA xxxx and UX-9.11M150811PA xxxx).
